Monthly Seminars, Workshops and Webinars

PAISBOA offers seminars, workshops and webinars throughout the year that  cater to the needs and concerns of the membership. Topics include health insurance, employee benefits, risk management, physical plant issues, economic trending, data benchmarking, cash management, outsourcing opportunities, and more.

Most programs are held at the PAISBOA offices in Radnor, which provide an ideal setting for meetings of all sizes. Meetings are also held at various locations in the region in deference to commuting time for attendees as well as providing opportunities to visit unique and relevant sites. Many meetings are either recorded for later review or offered as webinars for those who cannot attend in person.

Affinity Group Programs

The association assembles groups of staff members within the Business Office to provide support, resources, and a sounding board for those in similar positions in independent schools and universities. Groups include Tech Directors, Human Resources, Plant Managers and Sustainability Coordinators. These staff members share information, knowledge, skills and experience in an effort to keep abreast of changes in their profession and network with their counterparts.

PAISBOA offers  symposia for interested groups of colleagues in independent schools and higher ed to explore similar needs and concerns, and determine how PAISBOA – and its members – can help meet these needs.  Bringing together leadership teams from member schools and universities, our symposia enable participants to form strategic partnerships, brainstorm solutions to challenges, share research, and work collaboratively to create an open forum for dialogue and discussion about important and relevant issues in the education sector.
