Brother Gerry Frendreis Named 2006 John Batley Award Recipient
April 20, 2006 - One of the traditional highlights of the PAISBOA Annual Meeting is the presentation of the John Batley Award, our highest honor. A former CFO of Westtown School, recipient of the Visionary Award, and the man for whom the John Batley Award was created, John’s legacy is one of selfless giving and inclusion in PAISBOA. We celebrate his character, competence, and consistency each year with the selection of the John Batley Award winner.
For 2006, the John Batley Award was presented to Brother Gerard J. Frendreis of LaSalle College High School.
Brother Frendreis' award plaque reads as follows:
"For his vision, energy, commitment, conscience, and leadership as a Board Member, and as a member of the Executive, PAISBOND and PAISPC Committees, the Philadelphia Area Independent Schools Business Officers Association (PAISBOA) presents the 2006 John R. Batley Outstanding Business Officer Award to Brother Gerard J. Frendreis, F.S.C. of LaSalle College High School."
